Joe Lynn Turner - forever young voice of Rainbow. If you are buying his solo album, I can suppose that you are waiting for a kind of continuation of Rainbow. There were strong albums by JLT - "Rescue You", "Odyssey" (with Yngwie Malmsteen), Hughes-Turner Project. There were weak solo albums from the 90s, there were just good albums (Sunstorm). "JLT" is just good. Album was recorded with Al Pitrelli (Alice Cooper, Savatage, Megadeth) and bluesman Joe Bonamassa on guitars. Unstoppable riffs, juicy Hammond style sound of keyboards, classic 70-80s style of the ballads, recognizable voice. Comeback album for Joe of the 2000s. For those who prefer light songs by Joe this album may seem a bit too dry and too heavy, but if you like classic rock of the 70-80s - you'll like this album.
