limited edition white vinyl. Features 11 songs, including collaborations with Academy Award
and Latin GRAMMY winner Jorge Drexler and Curumin, among others. The title track of the
album was featured as the theme song to the Netflix series, ??Crime Diaries: The Candidate?.
Tijoux was born in France to a French mother and a Chilean father in political exile during
Pinochet??s dictatorship. After a return to democracy, the family moved back to Chile, where
she found a home in the emerging hip-hop scene of Santiago. Tijoux??s music has reached
audiences around the globe with 1977 featured on the hit TV show Breaking Bad and the
soundtrack to EA??s FIFA video game. - 2012 album from the French-Chilean musician. La Bala features 11 new songs including featuring collaborations with Academy Award winning musician Jorge Drexler, Chilean Rap crew Solo Di Medina (formerly La Pozze Latina), and Cuban Hip Hop group Los Aldeanos. The album was recorded in Tijoux's hometown of Santiago Chile, and mixed and mastered in Detroit, Michigan. |
