Description:
1980 was the 25th anniversary of Glenn Gould's debut recording for Columbia Masterworks. In honor of that occasion, the label issued the now classic 2-LP set, the Glenn Gould Silver Jubilee Album featuring the 1st release of rare Gould recordings of Scarlatti, Strauss, C.P.E., Bach, Scriabin and Gould's own "So You Want to Write a Fugue" and the comical "Glenn Gould Fantasy." This remastered reissue boasts the 1st release of Gould's 1981 recording of J.S. Bach's "Italian Concerto."
