Description:Travelling is an album by Roxette, released in 2023. Travelling includes a.o. the following tracks: â??Me & You & Terry & Julieâ?, â??Turn Of The Tideâ?, â??Angel Passingâ?, â??Sarsâ? and more. The album is a pop CD. -
2012 album from the enormously popular Swedish duo. While zigzagging between airports, arenas, hotels and meeting with fans from all over the world, the band also has found time to record the album Travelling. The idea has been to tap into all the positive energy that has boosted the band during this dazzling trip, and channel it to new Roxette music. In short, an album that just like 1992's Tourism captures the feeling of a band on a roll-constantly on the move, snatching inspiration as they go; recording in hotel rooms, studios, at soundchecks and in concert. The result is a fascinating musical postcard with 15 superb songs, most of which are new, some that are revisited classics and others being pearls that for various reasons hasn't seen the light of day before. EMI.
Songs from studios, stages, hotel rooms and other strange places. Made in EU. Printed in the EU.

This is an album with songs, demos and live performances that didn't make the "Charm School" album! Very good songs and interesting live arrangements!! These Swedish guys never disappoint their fans!!

Another compilation of live hits, remixes, new songs and rarities.

Following the trend set since their previous album (Charm School), Travelling reflects the new Roxette sound: more improvisation, less production. The sparkling, and slightly overproduced, sound of the early Roxette albums is missing here, and Trevelling is closer to the 60s than to the 80s. Less synths and distorted guitars mean more drums, acoustic guitars, flutes, saxes and even an autoharp! Even if it was conceived as the follow-up to the successful Tourism (1992), the live tracks on Travelling are just a minor detail as we can say this is mostly a studio album. Most of the material here is superior than Charm Shool, in my opinion.
