Following on from his Gold selling ARIA award winning albums Memories & Dust (2007) and Chimney's Afire (2008) comes the much awaited third album from Josh Pyke, Only Sparrows. Written whilst on the road and in New York and recorded with ARIA Award winning producer Wayne Connolly, Only Sparrows may prove to be Josh's most assured work to date. Choosing to take a new recording course, Josh removed his multi-instrumentalist hat this time around and enlisted a band of talented players who each brought something special to the mix. This allowed Josh to take a step back to really focus on the shape and direction of the songs, providing him the opportunity to take risks in areas he dared not to before.
