Once again, we return to the discussion of the fact that black metal groups are larger than the stage needs, but this very sound sounds only in skilled hands. Merrimack proves to us that material can be sharply delivered in a clear sound, especially if the material itself is good. Here is a cool balance of instruments, everything is audible and it’s not plastic, the construction of compositions and arrangements are supported by the ability to hold instruments. Logical and overwhelming tempo changes, pronounced melody along with dissonances, extreme vocals breaking into a painful speech.
