The Best Of The Giallo Soundtracks 1968-1974 |
 | Description: | Mondo Giallo is an album by Guess What, released in 2012. The album is a dance CD. - THE BEST OF THE GIALLO SOUNDTRACKS 1968-1974After their first opus "Yuri Gagarin", tribute to the legendary astronaut, London/France based duet Guess What (Graham Mushnik and Luke Warmcop) are back with "Mondo Giallo" - the soundtrack to four imaginary Italian films from the 60's and 70's. The combo explored all musical facets of the Giallo cinema, from the dramatic "crime jazz" to the sleazy erotic bossa-nova, without omitting the psychedelic and spooky accents of a baroque horror moment...; All this interpreted in the band's distinctive melodic and multi-signature style. Hammond organ and fuzzy Rhodes piano are prominent, percussions and exotic arrangements (dulcimer and xylophone among others) parsimoniously poured in - 12 tunes with groove and taste. | | Producer: |
