Harvey Mason is considered one of the star players in the world of Funk and Jazz, playing on recordings by artists such as Herbie Hancock, Carole King, Donald Byrd, James Brown and Beyoncé. The LP boasts an all-star cast of musicians including Wah-Wah Watson, Lee Ritenour, Richard Tee, Eric Gale, David Spinozza, Phil Upchurch, Jay Graydon, Bob James, Ray Parker Jr.. and David Foster and includes a cover of Antonio Carlos Jobim's 'Wave.' the funky title track was Harvey's first dance music hit single and is included on this expanded edition along with the 12" single released in both the U.S. and U.K. BBR. 2011.Originally released on Arista, 1979.
Inlay mistakenly credits track 2 as being written by Harvey Mason; correct credit can be made out on reproduced vinyl label.
