Rainer Zippering, one of the outstanding Baroque cellists, began recording the full collection of Beethoven's cello sonatas with Boyan Vodenicharov.
The cello's various tones and nimble bowing played by Gefeering are also excellent, but Vordenicharov's piano plays brilliantly enough to say that the main character of the record is the piano in some ways.
