Album Information: To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of Gowan?s Canadian classic Great Dirty World, Linus Entertainment is re-issuing a deluxe version of the multiple JUNO winning and Platinum selling album. The newly re-mastered album includes three previously unreleased piano vocal versions, and new packaging from original designer/photographer Dimo Safari, including never-before-seen photos from the era. The initial manufacturing run will include a limited edition personally autographed booklet by Gowan, exclusive to physical retailers. Having been classically trained, Gowan?s vocal and playing abilities quickly made him a huge success in Canada with three platinum and four gold records, numerous JUNO Award nominations, a SOCAN Classics Award for over 100,000 spins of the Great Dirty World album?s hit single, Moonlight Desires and a SOCAN National Achievement Award. Joining Styx in 1999, Gowan has spent the last decade touring the world, playing the Superbowl twice, the Tokyo-dome and Wembley Arena.
