Constantinople by Ides Of Gemini, released 21 June 2012, includes the following tracks: "Slain In Spirit", "One To Oneness", "Austrian Windows", "Old Believer" and more. This version of Constantinople comes as a 1xCD. -

Ides of Gemini is a collusion of musical forces precipitated by the haunting and inimitable vocal prowess of singer/bassist Sera Timm's, also of Los Angeles dark-psych alchemists Black Math Horseman. The compositions are the long-simmering mental fallout of veteran music and film journalist J. Bennett (guitar/backing vocals), who has spent most of the last 14 years writing for such publications as Decibel, Terrorizer, Revolver, Alternative Press and Thrasher. The third and final corner of the triangle is Kelly Johnston, whose martial drumming techniques and soaring backing vocals brought Ides of Gemini to life as a performing entity.

Recorded January 2012 at Sunset Lodge Recording Studio. The first 33 CDs were part of an exclusive pre-order for the Constantinople CD which included a candle handmade by Sera Timms (vocals/bass). The pre-ordered CDs, strictly limited to 33 pieces, each included a hand-numbered card and stickers. Three (3) of the candles that came with the 33 pre-order CDs had a crystal embedded in the wax that could be retrieved by burning the candle down. Each crystal could then be redeemed for a copy of the True Blue edition of The Disruption Writ CD, the all-new Electric White edition of The Disruption Writ cassette and one additional surprise item, simply by photographing the crystal with the CD and burned candle and sending the photo to the address included on a card included with the package. The candle came wrapped in a rough cloth with fragrant dried herbs and tied with a brown cord. The CD itself came wrapped in Asian wrapping paper, also tied with brown cord.
