Destination Set To Nowhere (Special Edition)

After some years since I ordered this album I can say more about it: first to say, I listened it once again few days ago and the songs are still sounding fresh, powerful and able to capture mind and emotions with the lighteous chain of familiar melodies. Lione is "the same old one": quality of his voice is the same, high. We will not hear new experiments on his voice (he already experienced some sort of "harsh"-dirt vocals in the previous album with positive result but nothing like this here). All album is marked with classical VD style. No changes, no experimental solution: pure power metal BUT Always entwined with inspired refrains and personal melodies coming from the identity of the band. Guitars work is massive but their wall of sound does not avoid the precious effort of other instruments like the bass. I can say this is definitively a strong work, looking at the first works of the band (before Luppi's era) but at same time involved into the path of a mature band enriched with the experience of the albums made during Luppi's age. thorse is an again inspired leader and it's still worthy to take a look for what will be the new album after this one.
