The evening of the 7th of April did not only found the MK III line up at their best but also was the very last show together with Richie Blackmore on
guitars. Blackmore left the band in 1975 to found Rainbow
Recorded in Paris at the Palais des Sports David Coverdale, Glenn Hughes, Richie Blackmore, Jon Lord and Ian Paice really made the audienceâ?? blood boil.
With fascinating drum- and guitar solos and enormous improvisations, this concert was a perfect tribute to their reputation in the world of rock.
While songs like â??Burnâ??, â??Stormbringerâ?? and â??Lady Double Dealerâ?? burst with strength, other songs like â??Mistreatedâ?? were presented in a superb
blues version. Of course, the highlight of the show was their all time smash hit and masterpiece â??Smoke On The Waterâ??.
