Description:
Reissue of the Dordeduh debut album is available again. The previous vinyl edition has long been sold out so its high time for a new edition. -
Dar De Duh is a difficult album to assimilate and certainly a first casual listen won't be enough to make you fully appreciate it. The particular and elusive sounds and the long duration demand attention, which is not always easy to keep alert for the entire duration of listening. The songs are similar to each other, highlighting how the band wants to give life to a unique and subjective, hypnotic and atmospheric experience that alternates evocative black metal with shamanic folk, within a naturalistic imagery with dark features. There will therefore be songs focused on dark and enthralling black metal, often enriched by carpets of sound created by keyboards, very refined folk interludes made of acoustic arpeggios and almost "tribal" and transcendental ambient parts that recall Wardruna in many places.
