Descripción:	Michel lebt zufrieden mit seiner Frau Marie-Claire in Marseille. Die beiden sind seit 30 Jahren ein glückliches Paar und sie lieben sich und ihr Leben: Die Kinder und Enkelkinder wohnen in der Nähe, sie schätzen ihre engen Freunde und sind stolz auf ihr politisches Engagement in der Gewerkschaft. Selbst als Michel einige der Hafenarbeiter entlassen muss und sich aus Solidarität selbst kündigt, trübt das seine Existenz nicht durchgreifend. Diese elementare Zufriedenheit wird aber jäh zerrüttet, als zwei maskierte und bewaffnete Männer Michel und Marie-Claire beim Nachtessen bei Freunden überfallen, fesseln und ihre Ersparnisse stehlen. Der Schock sitzt tief und die Wut steigt, als Michel erfährt, dass der Überfall von einem jungen ehemaligen Arbeitskamerad organisiert wurde, der ebenfalls die Stelle verlor.
