Description:Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1977 album from the Smoky Robinson-less Soul outfit who managed to maintain a healthy career outside of the shadow of their former leader Like their final Motown album the Power of Music, the group's Columbia debut, Love Crazy, was produced in it's entirety by Pete Moore, with all the songs written by him and Billy Griffin (who replaced lead singer and group co-founder Smokey Robinson in 1973) including two co-penned by Billy's brother Donald (who had also joined the team as lead guitarist in 1973 and was featured for the first time on the cover art). Acclaimed arranger John Barnes along with famed bassist Willie Weeks and drummer James Gadson were among the personnel on the album. SoulMusic.
"Love Crazy (Expanded Edition)" is a special reissue of the classic 1977 album by The Miracles, presented on CD by Cherry Red. This expanded edition features remastered audio and bonus tracks that provide fans with an even deeper dive into the soulful sounds that made The Miracles legendary. Known for their smooth harmonies and timeless hits like "Love Machine," The Miracles were one of Motown's most successful acts, fronted originally by Smokey Robinson before Billy Griffin took over as lead vocalist in the mid-70s. Their influence on soul, R&B, and pop music remains profound to this day. Cherry Red Records is renowned for its high-quality reissues across genres, offering collectors and new listeners alike access to rare gems with detailed liner notes and superior sound quality.
