Oft begleitet er seinen Vater, den Imker Yakup, bei dessen Streifzügen durch die tiefen, unberührten Wälder. Hoch oben in den Bäumen werden die Bienenstöcke angebracht, um den berühmten schwarzen Honig der Rize-Region zu ernten.
