Zum 50. Jubiläum erscheint der legendäre, aber bisher noch nicht offiziell erschienene Film The Rolling Stones Charlie is my Darling - Ireland 1965. Dieser Film war das Kinodebüt der Band und entstand während der kurzen Irlandtour nur wenige Wochen nachdem (I Cant Get No) Satisfaction auf # 1 der Charts gelandet und die Hymne einer ganzen Generation geworden war. Es ist ein sehr intimer Bericht von den Geschehnissen hinter den Kulissen einer Tour der jungen Stones. Dramatische Konzertaufnahmen mit atemberaubenden Performances von The Last Time und Time Is On My Side, und die erste Liveperformance ihres Counterculture-Klassikers (I Cant Get No) Satisfaction. Offenherzige und ungezwungene Interviews treffen auf witzige Szenen, wo die Band miteinander und mit Außenstehenden herumalbert. Dieser unvergleichliche Einblick in den Alltag der Stones offenbart auch die Entwicklung ihres Sounds aus Blues, R&B und Rock n Roll-Riffs und macht den Funken geradezu fühlbar, der wenig später zur Explosion und zur Entstehung der Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World führte.
