2012 release from the Swedish Metal band. Through the Archdemon's Head is a 56-minute monolithic masterpiece that may leave some questioning the fact that this is their first full-length recording. Vocalist J. Dee's style can be often compared to Tom G. Warrior (Celtic Frost) meets Quorthon (Bathory). Dee delivers a tremendous and harsh performance which complements the dark twin guitar attack just perfectly. The songs provide a tunnel back to the Golden Era of Doom reminding some listeners of early Candlemass while still retaining a feel of freshness and authenticity. Mournful melodies continue throughout the aptly produced Through the Archdemon's Head, enticing the listener conceptually with lyrical content revolving around several books centered on the spiritual aspect of the Archdemon.
