I love this album. Not because it's the greatest or it's perfect or anything. Things don't have to be perfect for us to love them. This album always reminds me that. The band was in a very difficult spot with the retiring of their drummer, they basically had to re learn how to exist and how to write music and in the process of them doing that they wrote of the most beautiful and deep albums of their career. Sure it's kind of weird at times but who cares? If it can touch your soul that's all that matters.

The last truly strong album from these Athens alternative rockers. With killer tunes like Lotus and Michael Stipe on top of his game.
