Saxophonist and composer Peter Sommer is in demand as a performer, clinician and recording artist throughout Colorado. He has contributed his muscular tenor playing and creative spirit to a wide variety of projects ranging from mainstream bebop to avant-garde. His first recording for Tapestry features a duo performance with the legendary pianist Art Lande. They weave their way through a variety of original compositions with a wonderful symbiosis. It is reminiscent of Lande's 1973 duo with Jan Garbarek and a treat to listen to.
