The fourth and latest soundtrack for classic silent films, part of the acclaimed Optical Music Series. The new score captures the spirit and passion of the film with a modern accompaniment designed to introduce new audiences to archives from the silent era. The soundtrack combines elements of Air, This Mortal Coil and 1920's Dixie. Standard jewelcase.

Soundtrack for the 1927 film "Hindle Wakes", directed by Maurice Elvey. Recorded & mixed September & October 2000 at A17, Sheffield. Commissioned by Leeds International Film Festival (with support from Yorkshire Arts) and BFI Films. Issued in standard double CD jewel case with transparent tray. Includes a 4-page booklet. Made in the UK
