Description:

Ferd by Aurvandil, released 20 January 2011, includes the following tracks: "Through Hordanes Land", "Peregrination II" and more. This version of Ferd comes as a 1xCD. -

Little is known from this artist so far, only that Aurvandil was incepted in the year 2006 as a spontaneous, scornful, hatred-driven catharsis. After a few inconsequential demos, the voyage commenced. Ferd resulted from a lengthy immersion in Northland, a step in the wanderer's northbound Journey. And the band have truly succeed to drink from the nordic waters of knowledge and walked through the forest and grief of Fordland. What you can hear is something unique, raw and atmospheric, eerie and very in-depth norse sounding black metal, as it would have been recorded 91 - 93, for a long time no other record gazed our attention so much, was so bloody authentic.
