Description: | British Guitar is an album by Andrew Keeping, released in 2000. The album is a classical CD. - JOHN DUARTEThis album is a limited edition re release of the 1996 premiere recording of Andrew Keeping. He presents two works by the renowned composers John W. Duarte and Oliver Hunt, both of whom were friends of Andrew Keeping and who he worked closely with on this production. The original release of this album received rave reviews in all of the Hi-fi press as well as Guitar magazines. Andrew Keeping graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London, studying under Michael Lewin, Timothy Walker and Bob Spencer, and in masterclasses with John Williams, Julian Bream, Robert Tear and Eduardo Fernandez. This followed an intensive five years being taught by the renowned professor and composer Oliver Hunt. He has appeared at venues worldwide including broadcasts on both radio and television. He works in partnership with various international singers and instrumentalists. His intimate drawing-room recitals have included performances before Pope John Paul II, and members of the British and Spanish Royal Families. |
