Neos was born in 1995 by the casual meeting of DJ Bruno Bolla & the saxophonist Gianni Bedori during a series of transmissions about jazz on RAI Stereo 2. A friendship & idea came to be: to create a group uniting their own experiences with those of Gerardo Frisina, a passionate jazz expert, and Luigi Bonafede, a refined pianist & session man. Enlisting a crew of musicians, they explore the musical planet in all it's tones, touching the 4 cardinal points: North, South, East & West, sailing between melodies & rhythmics, feeling & passion, joy & melancholy.
