The Jazz Convention project started a few years ago thanks to Nicola Conte, who had inspired this interesting and innovative group of young jazzmen. If the concept of style at jazz schools has never been predominant in the artistic production, here this young band wants to go through the still vital and persistent Hard Bop trend, in particular the Blue Note pattern of the sixties. It is both a way of interpreting in modern terms unexplored sounds and atmospheres and celebrating the sensitivity and taste of the modern artists.
