A Meeting with FriendsThe 'Motor' of this concert was built from the core of the 'Mild Maniac Orchestra' with Volker Kriegel on guitar and Thomas Bettermann on keyboards. Completed was the line-up with three extraordinary musicians: The very special Eberhard Weber on bass, Wolfgang Schlueter on vibraphone and Ralf Huebner on drums. Calm, pending sounds, sequences like soundtracks for movies, artful swapping, virtuous ending in swinging solos and finally far settling into melancholic prevailing moods with subliminal, quit pleasures, which made everything Volker Kriegel did so distinctive.
