The group was founded in 1958 (features Joe King, Tommy Wix, Ralph Goodwin) and is still going strong today. The second half of this CD features another early Jazzology LP (#19) reissued here, featuring the Mill City Seven from Minneapolis, swinging nicely on this studio session.

Two early Jazzology LPs are reissued here on CD, featuring the work of The Knights of Dixieland, the house band of the Columbia Jazz Club, based in South Carolina, the group was founded in 1958 and is still going strong today.
