(2 albums on one CD) This album features two separate sessions of improvised jazz piano solos from Dick Hyman and Lou Stein. Dick's tracks from the mid-1970's include songs he had never previously recorded and were among his most requested numbers, including "The Sheik of Araby" (Take a & B), as well as "Truckin'," "The Look of Love" and others. On Stein's recordings from the mid-1980's, he covers a wide spectrum of jazz sources, including "Hindustan," dating from 1918, as well as "In a Mist," "Love Is Here to Stay," "Yesterdays" and much more.

Two LPs on one CD. Tracks 1 to 10 originally released as [r9003085] - Monmouth - Evergreen MES/7065, 1974. Tracks 11 to 20 originally released as [r3692165] - Audiophile AP-198, 1984 (CD mistakenly lists it as AP-120). Recorded at Media Sound, N.Y.C., October 29, 1973 (tracks 1 to 10). Recorded at The Barn Studio, Pound Ridge, N.Y., January 28 and 29, 1984 (tracks 11 to 20).
