Description: | 2009 album from the Canadian Indie/Folk/Pop artist. Following eight years on Grand Central Records, where she was a regular vocalist for artists like AIM and Rae & Christian, Kate decided it was time to bring it back to her home in Ontario, Canada. Now, two years after the critically acclaimed St. Eustacia album and a recent stint singing with Toronto indie rockers the Coast, Kate and her band are running wild and independent with the release of Beauregard. While never losing sight of her Folk roots, Beauregard picks up the pace where St. Eustacia left off. With production by Toronto's Chris Stringer and mixed by the venerable Michael Phillip Wojewoda, this album boasts a little extra energy, punch and Indie Pop flavor than earlier recordings, and in turn gives Kate's affecting, soulful vocals the opportunity to really flex some muscle.Digipak
Rogers' third album, Beauregard released under the group name "Kate Rogers Band".
The album was released on Rogers' own independent record label.
