La Roux is the debut studio album by British synth-pop act La Roux, released in 2009 on CD format by Polydor. The album features a vibrant blend of electronic beats and catchy melodies, highlighted by hit singles such as "Bulletproof" and "In for the Kill." La Roux, fronted by singer Elly Jackson, quickly rose to international fame with their distinctive retro-inspired sound that pays homage to 1980s pop while remaining fresh and innovative. The project received critical acclaim and won the Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album in 2011. Polydor Records, established in Germany in 1924 and now part of Universal Music Group, has a long-standing reputation for supporting groundbreaking artists across genres. Their commitment to quality production makes this release an essential addition to any music collection.
