This is the latest in our series of jazz releases from the archive of the Ackerman collection comprising previously unreleased recordings, mainly of 'live' material. This features Woody Herman's highly regarded line-up from the mid-'50s, the Third Herd, recorded in Portland Oregon in late 1952.
