Shaman & The Monkey is an album by Mustangs, released in 2011. The album is a blues CD. -

2011 release from the British Blues band. Based in south east London, the Mustangs built a formidable reputation by appearing at numerous festivals up and down the UK over the last couple of years, including many of the highest profile events such as Colne and Maryport. The Mustangs are no ordinary Blues band. All their material is original, and is, they say, music inspired by the Blues, and not simply a succession of standard 12-bars. Their albums reflect their stage show - punchy, melodic and entertaining - and featuring the dynamic presence of singer/guitarist Adam Norsworthy alongside the veteran harmonica ace Derek Kingaby, with Ben McKeown on bass and Jon Bartley on drums.
