â? Nicholas Bracegirdle, auch bekannt als Chicane, ist ein britischer elektronischer Musiker, Komponist und Produzent. Er wird oft als einer der wichtigsten Begründer des Trance angesehen. Chicane veröffentlichte 2012 sein fünftes Album "Thousand Mile Stare". Das Album ist stark von der Arbeit von Sigur Rós inspiriert. Das Cover-Artwork ist eine Hommage an "Les Chants Magnétiques" von Jean Michel Jarre. Die erste offizielle Single des Albums, "Going Deep", wird von Aggi Dukes gesungen. Weitere Highlights des Albums sind "Flotsum and Jetsum", "Windbreaks" und "Playing Fields".
"Thousand Mile Stare" ist zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl erhältlich, und zwar in einer limitierten Auflage von 1000 einzeln nummerierten Exemplaren auf Purple Marbled Vinyl, verpackt in einer Gatefold-Hülle mit Deluxe-Leder-Laminat-Finish. - 2012 release from the British Electronic artist. In the past, he has been dubbed the "godfather of the Ibiza anthem," but Chicane mastermind, Nick Bracegirdle, has come a long way since the sun drenched Balearic shores first throbbed to the archetypal chill out classic, 'Offshore'. The expression, 'hot off the press' does not apply when talking about the timing of Chicane's albums; the last 12 months has been spent crafting, caressing and encouraging the tracks into shape. The album's emotive power is sublime, and as Nick sums it up, "a collection of life's soundtracks." |
