Part 1 of this album was recorded in Leningrad in 1980, and Part 2 in West Berlin 2 weeks earlier, which was the first appearance of the trio in the West; they play 15 instruments, taking their performance to a euphoric climax in a wild but organized display of free jazz.

Part 1 recorded live in Leningrad, November 15, 1980, orginally released on LP Leo LR 108 ([r=2686458]) in 1982; Part 2 recorded live in West Berlin, October 29, 1980, previously unreleased. Special thanks to Liz Trott for smuggling out the tape.
