"Lotus" has a collection of fun pop songs that make you want to move and sing along. Her melodies rival the best pop songs on the radio right now and I'd much prefer to hear her music on the airwaves other than Lady Gaga or Katy Perry.

Addictive and funky rhythm 'Red Hot Kinda Love'
The explosive duet with Mr. Greene 'Make The World Move'
Digitally recorded music charts! Max Martin's first single 'Your Body'
'Beautiful', 'Hurt', 'Blank Page'
And a dramatic power ballad 'Light Up The Sky', plus four bonus tracks!

To me, Lotus is my 2nd favorite album of Christina Aguilera, after her debut. Her vocal is still killing it, from the power ballad Sing for Me to the provocative sound Best of Me. I love the idea she introduced the various sounds of this album by releasing Your Body as a single, followed by her performances in The Voice singing Army of Me, Make the World Move, and Just a Fool. Despite the poor sales, Lotus is one of the most powerful pop album in its era. By declaring Let There be Love and sentimental Blank Page, this album needs to be taken seriously!

Sadly underrated album from the diva. It's not perfect, but it does have a number of songs that should have been proper singles, including the excellent "Let There Be Love". Much better than a number of the other 'diva' albums released this year (2013).
