Motets is an album by Johann Sebastian Bach, released in 2013. The album is a classical CD. -

For the first joint recording between Maria Lindal's REbaroque ensemble and the St Jacobs Chamber Choir the ensembles chose to perform all of Bach's motets; a collection of strikingly dance-like, varied and virtuosic works for choir and instrumental ensemble in which instruments and voices share the same parts, the optimal fusion of voice, words, articulation, song, instrument, timbre and color. With every tone, the instrumentalists perform a text- a vowel, a consonant, a poem - while the singers articulate every line of the text in unison with their instrumental partners.

The title of track 7 "Ich Lasse Dich Nicht, Du Segnest Mich Denn" is misspelled on the cover. Recorded in S:t Jacob's Church, Stockholm, Sweden in October 2010 and February 2011. Digipak CD plus 32-page booklet, with notes in Swedish and English, housed in a paper box.
