Hoodoo Man Blues is one of the best blues albums of all time, receiving a Grammy and chosen by Living Blues as a top 10 desert island disc. Recorded in 1965, this was the first studio album to capture a working Chicago band doing their stage set without radio time constraints. This reissue has 19 tracks: 12 from the original LP, 3 previously-available alternates & 4 never-before-released performances including a completely unissued song, "I Ain't Stranded". The 4-panel digipak & 16-page booklet package include 9 never-before-seen photos from the session.
Tracks 1 to 12 originally released in November 1965 as (stereo) [r=16782651] and (mono) [r=4022580]. Tracks 13 to 15, 17, 19 & 21 to 26 are previously unreleased. Track 18 previously issued as "This Is The Blues" on [r=508685]. Catalog number appears as "DE 612" on the Digipak spine and as "DELMARK 612" on the disc face.
