Kenny Wheeler, Norma Winstone & the London Vocal Project - Mirrors Kenny Wheeler and Norma Winstone have been at the forefront of the European Jazz scene for the last 50 years gaining the admiration and reverence from all generations of musicians and fans. With Mirrors, a major suite of music composed by Kenny Wheeler set to poems by Stevie Smith, Lewis Carroll and W.B. Yeats, they are joined by the London Vocal Project, a 24 piece choir directed by Pete Churchill. The album features some of the most renowned and celebrated musicians in British Jazz, including pianist Nikki Iles, saxophonist Mark Lockheart, bassist Steve Watts and drummer James Maddren, Mirrors looks to stand up as one of the albums to own in the vast catalogues of both Wheeler and Winstone.
