Deicide : Biographie
Deicide est un groupe de death metal américain formé en 1987 à Tampa, en Floride. Connu pour ses paroles blasphématoires et ses thèmes anti-chrétiens, Deicide est considéré comme l'un des pionniers du death metal. Le groupe a connu un succès commercial et critique, vendant plus de deux millions d'albums dans le monde.
Parmi leurs albums les plus acclamés, on retrouve "Deicide" (1990), "Legion" (1992), "Once Upon the Cross" (1995) et "In the Minds of Evil" (1998). Deicide a également été reconnu pour ses performances live intenses et controversées.
Roadrunner Records :
Roadrunner Records est un label de heavy metal fondé en 1980 aux Pays-Bas. Le label est connu pour avoir signé de nombreux groupes de metal influents, notamment Slipknot, Slayer, Megadeth et Dream Theater. Roadrunner est également responsable de la sortie de certains des albums de metal les plus vendus de tous les temps.
LEGION : Description de l'album
"Legion" est le deuxième album studio de Deicide, sorti en 1992. L'album est considéré comme l'un des albums de death metal les plus importants et les plus influents de tous les temps.
"Legion" est connu pour ses riffs de guitare brutaux, ses rythmes de batterie rapides et ses paroles blasphématoires. L'album a été un succès commercial et critique, atteignant la 44e place du Billboard 200.
"Legion" est considéré comme un chef-d'œuvre du death metal et a influencé de nombreux groupes de metal depuis sa sortie. L'album est également connu pour sa pochette controversée, qui représente un fœtus démembré.

I am sure that the blame for the satanic riot of musicians. This, of course, pushes away, but the tree-stick, it should not overshadow the mind! Here, after all, it is not image that is estimated, but music. Assertions that the admiration of the band’s music is no more than an example of bad taste, that there is no content in this music, and the musicians themselves simply cannot play - JUST FUNNY! This absolutely unreasonable swearing - this is an example of bad taste! Guys, whether your ears are crammed with something, or you are obsessed with the strongest holy-Christian complex of confidence that Satanists simply cannot do anything good! The strongest melodies (especially the first theme), easily remembered, instruments play quite technically. It is not clear how all this can not hear? In short, the fact is: "Legion" is the strongest, classic album, certainly one of the best in death-metal.

| | | Pierre T. - 30/03/2014 Deicide, groupe phare du Death Metal, ce deuxième album tout aussi bon que le premier, enfonce le clou encore plus profond grâce à des riffs indestructibles, une batterie impressionnante et les growls sans égale de Benton. Ce 2ème CD impose Deicide comme maître de DM aux cotés de Morbid Angel, Death ou Immolation. A acheter sans aucun doute.
