This album sounds like the lead-in to "Bloody Kisses". It's much more raw, the guitar work is more speed metal oriented when it comes to guitar solos, Peter Steele growls and yells more than he sings, and at times there's even a hardcore punk feeling in certain songs.

The other few songs that TON did that are good are here scattered about but they are all on the compilation cd as well. You have been warned. Highly recommended

Best of issues are not usually worth of buy for the regular fan, once he knows and have the discography. This album not only present so little novelties (i.e. Deep Purple's cover for Highway Star), as it was disapproved by the band themselves. For these reasons, I give two stars.

Best of Type O Negative,...muss man dazu noch viel sagen? Eigentlich nicht, denn jeder weiß was Type O Negative ausmacht, wie zum Beispiel die tiefe Stimmlage von Pete Steele, oder die allgemein düstere Atmosphäre in den Stücken.
