Description:On Thursday, October 10th, 1968, Jimi Hendrix walked onstage with his Experience, bassist Noel Redding and drummer Mitch Mitchell, for the opening set of a long weekend at Winterland in San Francisco. The trio would play six sold-out shows over three nights at the 5400-capacity hall. Hendrixs October 68 shows in San Francisco were among the best he ever played with the Experience, and this collection the first, official in-depth presentation of that legendary stand is the evidence.
