Descripción:
Digitally re-mastered edition of the Canadian band's fourth album, originally released in 1980. FM began life in 1976 with Cameron Hawkins (synthesizers, bass, vocals) and Nash the Slash (electric violin, mandolin, vocals) coming together as a duo, making an appearance on national TV in Canada in the Summer of 1976. By March 1977 FM became a trio with the addition of Martin Dellar on drums. Nash the Slash was replaced by Ben Mink on electric violin and mandolin. City of Fear was produced by synthesizer wizard Larry Fast (of Synergy and musician with Nektar and Peter Gabriel). This Esoteric Recordings release is the first time City of Fear has been issued in Europe and has been newly re-mastered and includes an illustrated booklet and a new essay., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Coordinator [Additional Project Co-ordination By]: Vicky Powell, Coordinator [Conceived And Co-ordinated By]: Mark Powell, Crew [FM Crew]: Andy Murray (6), Crew [FM Crew]: Bob Rodgers (2), Crew [FM Crew]: Fred Bunting, Crew [FM Crew]: Ian Dunbar, Crew [FM Crew]: Ian Murray (5), Crew [FM Crew]: Kitty Cross, Crew [FM Crew]: Peter McMullen, Crew [FM Crew]: Phil Morrow, Design [CD Package Design]: Hugh Gilmour, Design [Original Album Design]: Murray Brenman, Design [Stand-Ups]: Bob Rock, Drums, Percussion [Electric And Acoustic]: Martin Deller, Engineer: Charlie Conrad, Engineer: Jim Frank, Engineer [Assisted By]: Cliff Hodsdon, Engineer [Assisted By]: Scott Rea, Lead Vocals, Synthesizer, Bass Guitar: Cameron Hawkins, Mandolin [Electric And Acoustic Mandolin], Violin, Vocals: Ben Mink, Music By: FM (3), Photography By [Inside Cover Photography By]: Paul Till, Photography By [Original Cover Photography By]: Eric Staller, Producer: Larry Fast, Producer [Pre-production With]: Ed Stone (2), Producer [Pre-production With]: Ian Dunbar, Producer [Pre-production With]: Ian Murray (5), Producer [Pre-production With]: Jim Frank, Producer [Pre-production With]: Mark Wright (3), Producer [Production Assistance By]: Ian Murray (5), Recorded By [Additional Material Recorded At Phase One By]: Mark Wright (3), Remastered By: Ben Wiseman, Speech [Spoken Word By]: Pamela Silverstein, Technician [Synthy Maintance By]: Rob Onedera, Words By: Cameron Hawkins, Labelcode ESOT2943834.2 (ECLEC2383), Phonographic Copyright (p) FM Group, Copyright (c) Cherry Red Records Ltd., Licensed From FM Group, Recorded At Soundstage, Toronto, Recorded At House Of Music, West Orange, NJ, Recorded At Phase One Studios, Remastered At The Audio Archiving Company, Designed At Gilmour Design
