Avani is a 24-year-old South London vocalist co-managed by Tony Hall (whose past urban artists include Loose Ends & Lynden David Hall) & former Sony vocalist (and manager of Shaun Escoffery) Paul Johnson. When Tony brought Avani's demos to Dome, they immediately identified the vocal quality & writing talent that would enable her to follow in the footsteps of Beverley Knight & Hil St Soul. All but one of the cuts are co-written by Avani, including the lead single 'Heads Up' - produced by Don E, as is the only cover song, 'Watching You', originally a US R&B number one for Loose Ends in the Eighties, now updated with guest vocals from Rahsaan Patterson & Loose Ends' very own Carl McIntosh. Other songs attracting support are the mid-tempo 'The Waiting's Over' & killer ballad 'Lover's Theme'. Dome. 2004.
