2002 album (his 47th) for which the artist restricted himself to writing & playing exclusively on acoustic guitar, the instrument he began composing on nearly 40 years ago. This is not a simple acoustic or folk album, the songs are at the serious end of the spectrum with vocals taking center stage. Fie.

Recorded and mixed at Terra Incognita, Bath, August 2001 - July 2002. Guitars on "The Ice Hotel" recorded at The Isokon House, Suffolk.
