Description:	Im Auftrag der Regierung von Ceylon sucht der deutsche Professor Ferlach (Hans Nielsen) zusammen mit seiner Tochter Helga (Ann Smyrner) einen alten, im Dschungel versunkenen, Tempel. Dabei machen die beiden auch die Bekanntschaft des Tierfängers Larry Stone (Lex Barker), der Helga aus einer Tigerfalle rettet. An dem Tempel -oder vielmehr einem in ihm verborgenen goldenen Buddha mit einem riesigen Rubin- ist jedoch auch ein italienischer Archäologe (Maurice Ronet) interessiert. Was keiner von ihnen ahnt: im Inneren des Buddha soll auch das Testament des verstorbenen Maharadscha verborgen sein.
