Description:Sirius Calling by Art Ensemble Of Chicago, released 7 September 2004, includes the following tracks: "Two-Twenty", "Everyday's A Perfect Day", "Dance Of Circles", "You Can't Get Away" and more. This version of Sirius Calling comes as a 1xCD. - LAST RECORDING W/ MALACHI FAVORS
This is the last recording featuring member Malachi Favors maghostut before his death on Jan. 30, 2004. SIRIUS CALLING was recorded in early 2003 upon Joseph Jarman's return to the band after a decade-long hiatus. "The Art Ensemble has endured as long as it has because of it's members' ability to support fully one another's often diverse musical impulses... one of the group's finest performances, played with a taut nobility and a collective rhythmic spring that seems as natural as breathing.
Recorded April 4th to April 6th 2003. Mixed and edited April 24th to April 26th 2003.
