Recorded November 13 and 14, 2007. Mixed April 22, 2008 and mastered May 14, 2008. Rudresh uses Vandoren reeds and mouthpieces exclusively. "Kinsmen" was commissioned by the Asia Society, with support from Multi-Arts Production Fund, a program of Creative Capital supported by the Rockefeller Foundation. The recording of "Kinsmen" was funded in part by Mary Flagler Cary Charitable Trust, Aaron Copland Fund and the New York State Music Fund, established by the New York Attorney General at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.
