Long Island's Vanilla Fudge formed in 1966 when vocalist and organist Mark Stein, bassist Tim Bogert and drummer Carmine Appice came together to form one of the most influential Rock trios of the 1960s. Rock and Roll would be the band's final album of their initial formation.
