OLEG L. - 11/Dec/2024 This is a classic Slayer album, not only Slayer and Thrash metal totally. No comments. As for me this remastering version sounds better than a first press.
| | HYUNG RAE K. - 19/Nov/2023 This album is a beautifully sonic and sludgy metal album that metal fans will all adore, and it should be in Slayer fans collection for sure. Yea it isn't Haunting the Chapel(ep) or Show No Mercy but it is heavy, not all metal albums have to be super sonic and fast with 100mpg riffs.
| | Eugene S. - 23/Sep/2022 The fifth studio album by American thrash metal band Slayer, released on October 9, 1990. It was the band's last album to feature their full original lineup with drummer Dave Lombardo until his return on the band's 2006 album Christ Illusion. Seasons in the Abyss' musical style has been compared by critics to the band's previous two albums, South of Heaven (1988) and Reign in Blood (1986).
| | Vladislav M. - 22/Mar/2021 My acquaintance with Slayer began with this very album, back in the last millennium. A phenomenal album that took me into the world of extreme and formed the ideas about it, which I am still guided by. Fundamental work!
| | Vagner C. - 20/May/2017 This is among the most acclaimed Slayer albums, only behind of the thrash Metal masterpiece Reign in Blood. This album presents tracks Slayer plays live till nowadays, as Spirit in Black, Dead Skin Mask, Skeletons of Society, Expendable Youth.
| | Juan Antonio V. - 15/Dec/2015 Excelente disco! su sonido es clásico, casi distanciandose del Thrash tradicional que sonaba en su momento. espectacular Hanneman en la composición. :)
| | nikos l. - 11/Aug/2014 The last BEST thrash metal album made by this huge band called Slayer! With the albums from Hell Awaits until Season in the Abyss they show how the American Thrash metal should be played!
